My first weekend in Australia I went to Surf Camp in Gerroa, a coastal town two hours south of Sydney. Geri is home to the amazing Seven Mile Beach which is the perfect location for beginners to learn how to surf. I was very much a beginner, but as promised by the instructors, I had managed to stand up by the end of the weekend.
